Personaly i think this is a good idea because i dont think we should turn people off with 15 post who might be a big help to the community. This also comes with its fair share of idiots though but thats life. (plus without newbies we wouldn't be vertrans now would we)

The average rank still starts at 15 posts.
Members with 0 - 15 posts are still considered newbies, but can post in other forum sections.

In all honesty, 15 was a bit ridiculous. It deterred potentially good members from joining our community. I think that if someone is going to be banworthy, it will be dealt with by moderators either way.
