FACTS
Your hook speed is dependent to your character speed
But it has speed limit
So even you are going 500ft/s
Your hooks can only reached 300 below
Tested and i was going faster than my hooks

FACT: The limit of the hook's range is 120m, BUT, if you throw it at 119m while moving far away you still will grab it. Even in some ranges like 150m

Pretty sure the effective range of hooks is 119, unless you are moving forward, in which case you feet/second is converted into extra range (i.e. moving forward at 10 f/second means you have an effective range of 129). That last meter is a lie, if you hook with no momentum at a 120, the cable hits for a second, pulls you, and releases.

I think it's 122-123. It might be a bug.
