Kicking doesn't exist.

Just don't tick the "Public Server". If it doesn't work, the public server wouldn't work either.

XD I was just thinking that

He can't. He probably thought he had been kicked because he was booted to the menu.

Or you just disconnected.
Or he ragequit the server.
And beggars can't be choosers.
If they want to play with their friends, use private.
If they want to play with new people, use public.

It's easy to make a private server. So that would generally be easier.

Just don't leave. Make him restart the whole thing. Let him pay for his idiocy.

Sometimes people use public servers with small slots because their net can't handle it. I generally play with 2-3 people in my server. Hamachi is too troublesome since I already have ports forwarded from my ex's TF2 games, so it's just a lot easier to host publicly. Also sometimes I want to play public with a friend, but they can't hit connect fast enough. Usually I'll politely ask someone to leave with a reasonable explanation.

Which is usually followed by "lol ur net so bad" or something of the like.

If it's that bad, set the original limit low, or if it's because they have high ping, watch them DC.
Just tell the friend the info, so they can go to Private, type in the info, and just join all the same when you start.
