I'd have to say that Shingeki No Kyojin and Deadman Wonderland are the most brutal anime I have seen, but I understand that Elfen Lied is absolutely horrifying. Seriously, from what I've seen and heard, that anime is like decapitation/dismemberment central.

I will never watch elfen lied; i've seen some brutal stuff but infant children cut in half isn't for me
