Just wanted to answer in the other one but I guess it will do here, too.
If you are into "darker" stuff I would recommend Psycho-Pass set in a dystopian future where a persons state of mind and their personality can be meassured. I like all of the characters and the animation is really good. Darker than Black is also one of my favorites they have interesting powers and the battles are cool.
Rainbow: Nisha Rokubou no Shichinin or Baccano! are also really good. Can be a bit disturbing and bloody at times, though.
Another one I can recommend is Death Billiards. I just watched it yesterday and it's only one episode but pretty good for that.

GTO; great anime to get introduced to the slice of life genre. instant classic. It's the story of a japanese Former gangster biker called onizuka who wants to become the greatest teacher in the world. Don't tell me that doesn't sound remotely hilarious X)(+ Onizukas's face is amazing
If you like comedy , action, mecha , military organizations , and romace let me introduce Full metal panic
It' the story of a teenager called Sagara Souske . he's lived the life of a child soldier /secret agent until one day his mission is to live a normal highschool life to protect a girl called aname chidori , for unknow reasons. The funniest parts of the anime is when Sagara fails to adapt to his new environment and still behaves like a soldier in "normal life ". there are 3 seasons
FMP! : 26 eps
FMP! Fumoffu = 12 eps ( the comedy focused season)
FMP! the second raid ( sh*t goes down again)

Guys, I think you're misunderstanding.
You don't post recommendations here just like that, if someone has a request, then someone replies to it with an anime/anime(s) they think the person would like, according to that request.

Hello!
I like reading manga, since watching anime takes too long, and i like long stories since i cannot remember names that well :3
here is a list of manga i like, which may help in thinking of a good suggestion
so mostly action and adventure, I like shonen and a couple of seinin, but i am not that fond of romance. I also like superpowers, and especially love weapons(my name kinda gives it away :3)
So any nice suggestions?

gurren lagann is also a manga, but only 20 chapters or so long.

Well what did you like about DN and CG? I can't recommend something good if i don't know what's good for you

well, I freaking love mahou sensei negima , it actually had me at tears when i reached the end, which is something rarely achieved. I think you will quite like it.
