Well naturally, after all, his game wasn't made just for the sake of making a game and selling it, I think the love portion he puts in the dough is the major factor here, plus he has Jiang to help him out... And then there is the chibi (Mikasa) factor...

Still, like I already said, the 3DS game seems entertaining, but I think the gameplay has the potential to get dull fairly quickly, as is so often the case with these QTE orientated games, the story aspect however, would most likely be interesting to play trough, at least ones or twice (or more... depending on how well it's made).

I wish there was at least a option to turn off the QTE.

Y would just be something else, or another hook.

And when you press x it just swings. (Like in AOTTG)

That way at least still, I myself have to reach the nape and hit it.

This would have been tons more fun, but no QTE, because it "fuckings looks cool,"

I know, right. I hate QTE.

QTEs make it timing rather than skill+timing+variety+etc.

yeah I: I don't think it would be that hard to just make "x" a attack, it would be a lot more funner instead of just waiting for the circle to come into the right spot.

I only had to see it a few times before I figured out how to get critical hits all the time, from there it's all about keeping your focus so you don't miss your moment, and you are set.

Yup, it's not even random, heck, I'm sure that if you find yourself a nice gameplay demonstration video, you'll see it almost right away. Honestly, it's a bit too simplified.

Eh, I didn't expect anything better.
Most derivative games are rather disappointing.

watched an entire gameplay vid, only took me like an hour to see him play thru the entire game, pretty easy learning curve, dude pretty much got it down after the first 15 min and just started critting everything.
